Gandy "Big G" for sale
My son is selling his pool table to make room for a Diamond. He is only the 2nd owner of this 9' Gandy "Big G".
It is Gandy's top-of-the-line commercial table but it is NOT a pool hall survivor .
It was originally purchased by an individual for use in his home.
It is all original except for webbed leather drop pockets which were installed a few yrs ago to combat the black markings that will sometimes show up on the balls.
The rails & rubber are the originals but are tight, lively & accurate.
The 3 pieces of slate are flat and in excellent condition.
The table rolls true with only minimal shimming between the slates & the frame.
The wood grain laminated rails are in excellent condition considering its age, which I estimate to be about 30 yrs.
A few slight dimples betray a table mechanic's over-enthusiasm when installing the feather strips.
The table has a ball tray incorporated on one end and has 2 rail counters that work perfectly.
Chrome brackets are mounted on each side to allow convenient storage of your bridges.
Included with the table is a set of premium balls and a rack.
The table will remain assembled for your inspection & play until the middle of April, 2016.
