Dylan's Cue

Here is an assortment of pictures that show some details of Dylan's cue.
The Knight's Templar sword, shield and crosses are made of Mother-of-Pearl (MOP), gold lip MOP, Elforyn and reconstituted stone.  The full splice blank was built by Kelly Peterson of MVP Cues.  Please pay attention to the sharp returns, the tight miters & the finely feathered forearm in this flawless example of his work.

These butterflied wedges of Amboyna burl terminate in a mini-Hoppe style buttcap.

I just had to include this shot of the bottom.  For some reason, the colors just draw me in.

A better look at the bottom & a peek at the full splice itself.  It just doesn't get any cleaner than this.
From top to bottom, the miters on these veneers continue to impress me!

I wish my inlays were as tight as the miters in this blank :-)

This full length shot will have to suffice until the cue is finished.

And, finally, the finished cue!
