Tim's Kingwood Full Splice
Below are the preliminary pictures for Tim's cue:
This Kingwood/Birdseye Maple Full Splice blank was made by Kelly Peterson of MVP Cues. I provided the cored birdseye forearm and Kelly provided the Kingwood and machined & assembled the blank. The thinwall SS joint collar is sleeved over a threaded phenolic collar to save weight. The inlays are Abalone and Turquoise set into Juma. The mitered veneer windows surround an Ebony interior that is also inlaid with Abalone & Turquoise. A pair of Turquoise spears are outlined by Ebony at each end of the windows. Matching segmented trim rings are sandwiched between double silver rings at each end of the cue. Both shafts have matching trim.
